I'm a Jill of all trades. I'm a retired high
school teacher. Lots of common sense, no drama,
and a variety of skills.
I am looking for a caretaker position on a
ranch, farm or estate with housing provided and
will accept my three (all under lbs) house
small dogs. They're elderly, and I cannot leave
them. They're good little watch dogs who alert me
when there are strangers around.
I am , an avid hiker and very physically active
and healthy. I raised on a farm in Ohio and though
the only girl, I learned everything my brothers
learned. My parents were no nonsense German
We had acres, head of cattle, horses,
goats, countless barn cats, a chicken coop and one
very happy rooster. I understand the needs both
small and large animals. My dad grew grass hay,
sugar beets and field corn. I also participated in
semi-professional barrel racing for years.
I am also an avid gardener and cook.
I was raised hunting and learned how to handle guns safely at
a very young age. I own a rifle, a gauge shotgun and
several handguns. Security would not be a problem.
I am looking for a property that I can take
care of as if it were my own.
Being a farm girl, and because I was single until
I was , I can repair just about anything:
carpentry repairs, plumbing, electrical,
irrigation systems. My late father taught me that by using a
wire coat hanger, duct tape and pliers, you can repair just
about anything. Maybe only temporarily, but until you
can find the parts and proper tools, it works. I can also drive
tractors and lawn equipment. I have used chain saws and
weed whackers extensively.
As a teacher, I held DOJ (Dept of Justice)
criminal clearance, I can easily renew that. I smoked weed
once in college - that was plenty for the rest of my life. Drug
and drama fee.
I would be happy to answer further questions or
supply with you with my professional resume.
Thank you for reading and your consideration.
