| A farm and ranch background, wide ranging
experience in such diverse fields as teaching,
wood-turning and picture framing as well as five
years as house manager of an estate in California
have provided me with a fairly unusual set of
skills and abilities. I believe that these,
combined with personal integrity, dependability
and an eagerness to please set me apart as a
candidate for a job as your caretaker.
For the past three years I have been living in
Brooklyn and working at a high-end art framing
studio in Manhattan along with my year old son.
This has been an enjoyable and rewarding
experience. Unfortunately, the current economic
downturn has had a devastating effect on our
business and I feel it prudent to look around for
other options.
I am quite fit, healthy and still young at heart
so the possibility of relocating and starting a
new life is attractive to me. I have an updated
resume that I would be happy to send along if you
feel that I might fit your needs. On my side I am
hoping to find a live-in position where I can
enjoy the outdoors, but perhaps be within range of
a metropolitan area as well. If space were
available to set up a small wood-turning studio,
